Review: Daiso's Makeup Corrector

i think mya (or is it someone else? do correct me if im wrong!)  requested for a review on this and i almost forgot!

got to try this blue cute looking thing out today

noticed that my winged liner is gone?

(i used Lakme's kajal liner)

im not sure if this would work on liquid liners though, cos i dont own any

i tried using this all over my lid and it removes my eyemakeup pretty well

THE GOOD:

1) very affordable

2) doesnt have any scent to it ( you ladies know how some cheap products can have a really nasty smell)

3) product glides on smoothly without any tugging, good for any slipups when using eyeliners

4) there's no need to sharpen it as you can simply twist the bottom and the product will pop out!

THE BAD:

1) the amount of product that you get isnt that huge of an amount, what can you expect from something that costs only 2bucks right?

2) has a slightly oily feel to it, but once you wipe it off, oily feeling isnt there anymore

3) back to point number 1, due to the amount of product, if you're thinking of using this to remove your eye makeup everyday, skip it cos it will run out pretty fast and you would have to keep restocking it, i'd rather you ladies get the nivea cream instead

would i recommend this: i honestly believe you can totally skip this, but there's no harm in trying =)

would i repurchase: no

Hauls and Swap!

had a swap with MT (http://magicaltannsu.blogspot.com)

and look at what i got!

i dont think these brushes need anymore introduction

managed to get my hands on the  Essence of Beauty brushes

plus i even got the brandless synthetic foundation brush that MT has in her blogshop

see the difference in the size of the brushes?

but honestly both works just the same! and are equally good!

my first MAC blusher! yeah me =)

another product that i believe doesnt need any introduction

got this from eyelashwishh http://privateaddiction.onsugar.com/ aka FATIN

like hell yeah! we both have the same name and the best part of it all, she lives just 5 mins away from my house

how freakingly awesome is that?

http://community.livejournal.com/sg_beauty/289966.html - the link to her selling page, check it out for more great finds!

went to Tampines with the family

managed to find Elianto's store and was i ever so happy

i wanted to their get a couple of their brushes but i managed to refrain myself and i feel so proud =)

so i only bought 2 of their eyeshadows and a lipgloss

eyeshadows are $3.90 each

lipgloss are $5.90 each

left: Rich Blue

right: Golden Yellow

look at how crazily pigmented these eyeshadows are!

really loving the colorpayoff for the blue eyeshadow, i find the yellow abit chalky

lipgloss in princess pink

this was something random that i just took from their counters

the good thing about this lipgloss is that it's not sticky and it smells exactly like bubblegum =)

i initially wanted to get the lipglosses that mya posted about http://heavenlygorgeous.onsugar.com/6356930

i did go to watson's to get the Flutter Pretty Lipgloss but knowing that i dont use lipglosses that often, i skipped on it

so this would be the last haul for the month of November

need to save the rest for my upcoming holiday with the family

will do a review on DHC's skincare line as promised, but wil get to that once im done using the samples =)

i've also updated my sales page, do check that out too! http://buttcracks.onsugar.com/page/114827

Liquid HD Foundation

*all info and pictures taken from coastalscents*

http://www.coastalscents.com/cfwebstore/index.cfm?fuseaction=category.display&category_id=142

Coastal Scents Under Cover High Definition Foundation has arrived after 8 months of testing. A soft focus, flawless, natural finish is needed when under the scrutiny of a camera in HD. Our foundation applies with a light weight texture, a very small amount is needed to cover your skin.

With photography, film and live television using high definition focus, (meaning that the camera and monitor sees everything magnified), HD application has become a part of training for makeup artists in today’s industry. The colors need to stay consistent in all types of lighting, what does not work well in HD is sparkle and shine. Reach for matte bronzers, blush and shadows.

HD makeup is now obtainable to everyone, you also can reap the benefits of that HD flawless look, this is not just for makeup artists. It is important that your skin is prepared prior to application in order to achieve the HD finish. Practice gentle exfoliation and polishing of the skin; use a matte primer and non greasy/oily moisturizer; use a loose mineral or pressed matte finishing powder. The silicone in HD foundation helps to absorb your skins natural oils and helps fill in small lines. Remember, Sparkles and shiny skin will only attract the eye/camera to the flaws you want to conceal from it.

Net Wt: 30ml – 1.0 fl oz

Ingredients: Water (Aqua), Cyclopentasiloxane, Talc, Propylene Glycol Dicaprylate/Dicaprate, Mica, Butylene Glycol, Dimethicone, Dimethicone Copolycol, Biosaccharide Gum-1, Lauroyl Lysine, Sodium Chloride, Fagus Sylvatica Extract, Hydrolyzed Yeast Protein, Propylene Glycol, Diazolidinyl Urea, Phenoxyethanol, Methylparaben, Proplyparaben. May Contain: Mica, Titanium Dioxide, Iron Oxides. Made in P. R. C.

has anyone tried this yet? or have watched or read reviews on it?

DHC Skincare Consultation @ Bugis Junction

had my skincare consultation at Bugis Junction today

it was a really very lovely visit and being the forgetful person that i am, i totally forgot to take note of the lady's name who served me  -______-

but the lady was extremely nice, she's the only malay beauty consultant over at Watsons (for DHC)

she wears glasses and has short hair

if any of ladies are interested to know more about DHC, do lookout for her =)

the samples that i was given are from DHC's Olive Essentials Series

*all info are taken from the brochure given*

- DHC Olive Essentials Series harnesses the powerful antioxidant properties and natural beauty benefits of the very best Spanish olives

- These plump little fruits yield wholesome olive oil that is the key ingredient in this series, delivering intensive moisture and protection for all skin types. With a chemical structure closely resembling that of skin, olive oil is nature's treasure, suitable even for the most sensitive of skins.

these are the samples i got =)

so here are the 4 simple steps to skin beauty

1) Deep Cleasing Oil - Cleanse

Water-soluble DHC Deep Cleansing Oil uses premium olive oil as its base ingredient.

It effortlessly removes oil-based impurities such as excess sebum, makeup and sunscreen and helps unclogs pores by lifting every trace of grime on your face. Non-sticky and lightweight, DHC Cleansing Oil provides intensive moisture while cleansing, without an unpleasent greasy feeling.

And best of all, you can simply rinse it off with water!

2) DHC Mild Soap - Wash

Brimming with olive oil and honey, DHC Mild soap produces a gentle yet firm foam withh a delightful whipped-cream consistency that spreads easily over your face. It swiftly and effectively lifts water based impurities from your pores, such as keratin and dust.

As the sebum your skin needs is not removed, you will never experience an unpleasent sensation of tightness after washing with DHC Mild Soap

3) DHC Mild Lotion - Tone

DHC Mild Lotion is bursting with vitamins and enriched with natural plant extracts including cucumber juice

Its natural, alcohol free astringent effect tightens pores and regulates both sebum production and the balance of PH levels in the skin

Use DHC Mild Lotion to maximise and complement the beauty benefits of DHC Olive Virgin Oil

4) DHC Olive Virgin Oil - Moisturise

Lightweight DHC Olive Virgin Oil is the best moisturising experience ever

It is 'Flor de Aceite' a 100% natural beauty oil of the highest calibre, freshly extracted from young hand picked organic olives

Just one drop of antioxidant rish Olive Virgin Oil glides on smoothly over your entire face, forming a veil like barrier that provides UVB protection and helps prevent moisture loss. It also combats oxidisation and never clogs skin.

Pure, stable and with no unneccessary additives, legendary DHC Olive Virgin Oil is your beauty must have.

DHC Acne Whitening Gel

this was something extra that the lady threw in for me

as told by her, this would work great if you have acne scarring, its lightens the acne scarring and can be applied to your whole entire face

and if you have that irritating pop of zit that always seem to appear on the same area, you just have to dab this acne whitening gel twice on the affected area

i have yet to try the samples out yet

but somehow i find this very promising and im really hoping that it works

will go test it out and let you ladies know my honest opinions on the Essentials Olive Series

I Nouvi's 2nd Visit

did my 2nd visit to I Nouvi yesterday

i didnt get to interact with the BA at all

everytime i wanted to ask her something, this other lady in store kept calling her, well basically the other lady just wanted the BA to entertain her the whole time

eventhough i didnt get to ask the BA anything, i listened to the conversation the BA had with the other customer

the BA answered every question the lady had and help her clear her doubts

so since i realized that i was never going to get to ask anything, i told the BA what i wanted to get

she got me my item, checked the product with me to ensure that there was no damage

eventhough she didnt get to attend to me, she acknowledged that i was there

so here is what i got!

got one of their eyeshadows in Charcoal

im not a big fan of too much glitter,

color payoff is pretty good

but the one problem i have with it is that, there's too much falling out with the glitter, but thats no biggie

will try to do a look with both I Nouvi products soon =)

RAMBLES SHAMBLE BAMBLE!

now ladies, tell me

who the hell uses the phone till the freaking hp bill comes up to a total of $489.08!

well apparently me!

mom just called, she totally freaked out!, i tried to keep my cool (but im freaking out right now as im typing this!)

"why is your hp bill so high?! what the hell did you do with your phone!"

mom was trying to keep calm, but it didnt work, she was literally screaming over the phone

but OMG im so flaring up right now it's crazy

(well it is my own fault, so there's nobody else to blame but me!)

and im suppose to go on a holiday next month, like what the huge freaking big f***

oh god

fortunately i've been doing abit of overtime for the past two weeks, and the pay will only be in by next week and im not even sure of how much i'll be getting

*stress mode stress mode stress mode stress mode stress mode*

and lucky for me, i dont have my ciggies with me right now at work, i'd probably smoke the whole box and give myself a freaking heart attack

well ok, the overly stinking high bill is already giving me a heart attack and leaving me braindead

so i Fatin Nur Tiara will be banning myself from buying any makeup or ciggies (yes, no more smoking for the time being) and banning myself from getting anything which i dont really need

BAN BAN BAN BAN BAN BAN BAN

will be pushing whatever items that i wanted to get aside, will go pay my stupidly over high bill first and see if i have any balance to spend on

why cant it just rain money?

phew, that felt good to get off my chest

but i am still fuming inside though, oh god

will be watching paranormal activity with the bf later, hopefully that movie will be able to scare my freaking stress away

if it doesnt, im going to strangle the person who sold me the ticket - ok now i sound violent, hahah!

now im gonna rip apart the huge packet of chipsters that mom gave me and start chewing my stress away, blearghhhh

is there anything that you ladies have ever done that made you feel so stressed up and pissed about?

do share!

My Want List

i am seriously too free at work

i for one basically have nothing to do, so i thought it's better if i did an entry rather than just stare in space

been lemming and dying to get my hands on these items below, the knowing what the prices are, it can sure make me faint a couple of gazzilion times

MAC 109 - $67, it's just something about this brush that makes me want to get it, i guess it looks just too cute ;)

MAC 227 - $60, not too sure if i really want to get this though

MAC 239 - $47, as for this, i already have quite a number of eyeshadow brushes, but it's good to have more right?

Brush Cleanser - $18,  well atleast this isnt too bad, will definitely be getting this =)

makes it easier for me to do a quick spot cleaning on all my dirty brushes, fats getting lazy on deep cleansing her brushes!

MUFE HD Primer - $65, would really LOVE to try this one out, but alamak, the price!

so ladies, what do you think?

are there some items that you think i can skip?

i wont be getting all these at one go though, probably try to save and get these over the next few months

[ dream on fats, not happening ;) ]

i still have many more items that im really dying to get and try, but i'll post about those in another entry =)
